Some people...they keep on coming back. People you keep somewhere in that beautiful place in your heart with that crazy idea that the connection you made once so long ago was so good and pure that you know you will keep it forever. I dunno what it is but out of nowhere, the REAL ones always seem to pop up. I can move on, I can preach, I can declare I will never preach again... it doesn't matter what freakin' thing I'm into, they always come back and ask that simple yet precious question, 'how are you?'. Funny how people who continuously remember you eventually become a necessary part of your life.
Valyn always talks about how this is so important, to be remembered by loved ones. It feels good to be remembered. I am so grateful that there are these people who continuously come to me...as if they really want to be with me during the span of this life, as if they seem to be interested...
They come and go... hopefully, we all have them . Sometimes I like to remember how much I have in this life.. I have Love and the wealth of friends who care.
Remember caring... Care for those who you've taken a liking to. Respond to them. Acknowledge those who reach out to you with gratitude. Sorry, preaching again.
I guess we need to feel the love of those who've cared about us, those who don't wish us ill... if they've done us wrong, forgive and move far past.. forgiveness, to me only means letting go. It doesn't mean allowance of the same. It just means... good bye. Friendship.. it's somebody out there who comes and goes in your life, or is always there and you just get this vibe after a while that says..Yeah, you ARE good, yeah I need to have you in my life because you are a really nice person. Thanks!
Hey, I just got home from work where I was insulted and underpaid. Heh! What to do, what to do...
And they say this isn't hell. So, what do we do with this place? The best thing I can think of is to feel gratitude for whatever it is that you DO get... 'cause... hey, look around. Get that good stuff where you can.
I envy you. The people whom I've once been friends with whom I've stopped, the completely crazy and scary ones are the only ones who come back. Maybe it's an energy I give off, I dunno but it's weird.
So yeah, I envy you...

I like what you said. I find making friends difficult due to my odd brain but when i make a friend I am deeply loyal, I get very heart broken when one of them goes from my life though, my friends are like my family and i am lucky to have a good family who understand me. i am glad of the internet because i find social interaction with my peers very difficult.

I always said to people who envy me (for whatever) not to worry... for every good thing I get I pay a thousand times over one way or another. So, you know you can't envy me. 'Cause this package comes with a hefty price and you don't want THAT price. I am lucky for the lasting friends I've got, God knows I'm lucky to have friends. Especially now... What suprises me most is how they seem to come out of nowhere, pop up just at the right moment when I feel friendless or simply just sorry for myself. Nah, don't envy me. You've got your life for a reason.

Well, thank you. As for people staying.. well, I'm glad many of them haven't stayed. Heck, I've had my share of betrayals. It's those tender dears that every once in a while drop me a line letting me know that they love me unconditionally and that it doesn't matter how I behave or ignore them...they still stick like glue. And it just seems that my eyes just sprung wide open to them because I received word from a bunch of people all at once who don't know each other, haven't gotten word from me and wouldn't know to write me en masse because they don't know what's going on in my life. I'm just shocked that I've got friends out there who are feeling me...reaching out. It's tremendous and it brings me to my knees.

Well, I guess one thing many of us have in common is the love of friendship. No matter how a brain translates the input, the idea of loving kindness works on deep levels. It's like that old adage: 'it's the little things...' It IS the little things and words like, "How are you?" go a long way. Rarely does anyone EVER ask how I am and when they do...I'm almost in tears at the thought of being able to actually tell them. Pathetic, but true!

Its really nice when someone asks how you are feeling, my boy friend and soul mate who has a learning disability too also always asks how people are, he is always smiling and waving to people, it helps because I'm so socially inept.
