I'm feeling crappy today. I worked, got into a bath and got ready to listen to Valyn's program but I've got this terrible cold. I think it's because of the Florida wildfires. You know the Everglades are burning, don't you? Well, I smell it every morning. Anyway... I'm laying on my heating pad after work and my cat Angel jumps up on the bed. This cat is one of the truly stunning masterpieces of catwork. I mean.. gorgeous. Bright white Turkish Angora, just like the cat called Gabriel in the movie 'The Crow'. I looked at her looking at me and it was as if she was saying, "See my beautiful coat? You should pet it. Really. Pet my beautiful fur. It's not like it's for me... it's for you. All I get out of the deal is hairballs and a bunch of puking. I mean, I'm comfortable in my fur but it's HERE for you... to touch. Because you WILL be soothed. Let your fingers seperate those pieces... look how beautiful my face is.. it's for YOU, to love, to make you feel good looking at my beauty... please, love my beauty... that's why I exist. For you to touch and to love. It will make you feel better."
She's got one green eye and one blue. So pretty. So perfect. And I did feel better just looking at her and hearing her talk to me.
She is a beautiful kitty! I know what you mean, sometimes when I'm feeling really down, Max the Wondercat comes rubbing up against me and gives me big sandpaper kitty kisses. Hard to feel down when he's doing that. Zen

Aw! *snuggles* She's is a right beauty! We found a beautiful dog at the pound a few months back. She was brought in that morning from off the streets. I kept walking by her kennel and found that she wouldn't raise her head, but that she would follow me with her eyes. So finally, I asked if I could hold her. Sure enough, she raised her head and gave my hand a wet lick and walked into my arms I didn't out her down after that and we brought her home. We knew that she was the one *laughs* And she hasn't stop following me around ever since.

oooh like the Kurdish van cat, the true Van cat that swims in the lake Van, i have seen this cats with fur as soft as air and odd eyes, how beautiful and she is like an angel. I have 3 Devon Rex cats and two mixture cats but they are all beautiful creatures and they are my little family.

Oh me tooo!!!! I just got Tuxy about three weeks ago and already he is an integral part of my day to day life. We curl up together at night and sleep. He loves to sleep at my feet when I am on the computer or cruise the back of my chair. He is also black and white, short fur, and a glutton for pets. I love to listen to his motor run when I touch him.
He has an exquisite face... he looks like a harlequin.
I keep a picture of him on my cell phone so if I get lonely, all I have to do is flip open my phone and there he is.
Cats are truly wonderful, as strange as they can be. XD
My first cat was my nanny when I was a baby. She would wake me mom whenever I woke up crying in the night. And everyone said that the cat would have smothered me. Tsk tsk. That cat was my second mommy.
Animals are gifts from God.
